Homer Newton Bartlett , 1846/12/28 (Olive, NY)‒1920/04/03 (Hoboken, NJ). Pianist, organist and composer. From 1864-1865, infantryman in the 64th New York Regiment. Organist at Marble Collegiate Church, New York, for 12 years and Madison Ave. Baptist for thirty-one. Founding member of the American Guild of Organists. Published a sextet, a cantata, an opera, an oratorio, a symphonic poem, many songs, etc. A descendant of the actual New Hampshire governor, Josiah Bartlett.
