Fritz Fuhrmeister , 1862 (Westdorf bei Aschersleben)‒1937 (Berlin). Composer and accompanist. Studied with Kullak, Scharwenka, Bischoff, and Liszt. Director of the choir of Berlin’s Handwerkervereinigung and of the men’s chorus Caecilia-Harmonia. Freelance pianist and music teacher. He composed chamber and church music, piano pieces, songs, and choral works.
